Notewell
An AI meeting assistant that records and transcribes every meeting, extracts the decisions and action items, assigns owners and due dates, and tracks follow-through until it's done.
// The Meetings dashboard — weekly KPIs, a meetings-and-action-items trend, and a table where follow-through is a column you can sort on.
Figures from the engagement, shared under NDA.
We publish them unchanged and can’t break them down any further here. The reference build you can open runs entirely on sample data.
If you read one part of this page, read these 4 lines.
- Captures decisions and action items from a call automatically — no one takes minutes
- Every action item lands with an owner and a due date, not just a wall of notes
- Follow-through becomes a number leadership can track per meeting and per owner
- A clean, shareable recap is ready the moment the call ends
What it does — and which part of it we built.
Notewell turns meetings into finished work. It joins the call (or takes an upload), produces a speaker-labeled transcript in real time, then reads that transcript to pull out every decision and action item, assign an owner and a due date, and track follow-through until each item is closed. BuildspaceLabs designed and built the MVP front end — a Meetings dashboard for the whole team and a per-meeting recap view — turning a streaming transcription pipeline and an extraction model into a workflow a team can actually be held to.
Every screen here is from the reference build, not the client’s system.
The captions say what you are looking at. Every name and record on them is sample data.

What the engagement left the client with.
- Delivered a production-quality MVP of the Meetings dashboard and meeting recap view in an 8-week engagement
- Consolidated transcription, recap, decisions, and owned action items into a single team surface
- Turned meeting follow-through into a trackable metric per meeting and per owner
- Established a reusable design system (waveform strip, status pills, attendee piles, recap cards) for the product's next surfaces
The stack was picked per constraint, not per house habit.
7 technologies across 3 layers — the shape of the stack follows the problem.
Every feature in the build (6)
- Meetings dashboard with meetings-this-week, action items captured, overdue, and hours-saved KPIs

Don’t take our word for it — it is running in the frame below.

A 30-minute call is enough for us to understand your situation and tell you whether we're the right team. Usable version in the first two weeks if we are.
